Alex is currently a Biomedical Engineering student at the University of Auckland, looking to finish his degree at the end of 2019. During his internship at the Augmented Human Lab at the Auckland Bioengineering Institute, Alex hopes to broaden his understanding of capacitive sensing and how to measure movements and expressions of the human face.
Outside of the Augmented Human Lab, Alex is involved in the UniGuide Leadership program, where he is part of the Training Committee: looking to make the training of new UniGuides more enjoyable and useful. Alex also sits on the Leadership and Service Award panel, which reviews student applications and grants the award appropriately. In his spare time, Alex enjoys playing guitar and football, as well as reading and enjoying the sun.
